MyCareer has received a top honour in being named national a finalist in the Australian Marketing Institute’s National Awards for Marketing Excellence in the category of Brand Revitalisation.
The awards recognise outstanding examples of marketing excellence that follow best practice standards. “We’re thrilled to be acknowledged as a national finalist”, said Lisa Watts General Manager of MyCareer.
“Launched in late October 2005, the new look MyCareer brand is based on making the search for jobs and employees simple for all Australians.
“Not only is our visual identity simple; this simplicity has also been integrated into the way we do business every day.
“Every part of our website, every tool for our jobseekers and every sales process in place is now created and managed with simplicity and ease of use in mind.
“Three months after launch we attracted over one million Unique Browsers* to our site for the first time, five months ahead of forecast. This dramatic increase in traffic was mainly attributed to the success and acceptance of our revitalised brand in the marketplace.”
The winner will be announced next week on Wednesday 11 October at a Gala Awards presentation dinner in Melbourne.
