The University of Southern Queensland (USQ) has forged a reputation as one of Australia’s leading providers of on-campus and
distance education programs in Australia. With more than 75 per cent of our students studying via distance or online, we are at the cutting edge of flexible delivery of resources and technology.
USQ is a young dynamic university located in three thriving regional locations across Southern Queensland Australia; Toowoomba, Springfield and the Fraser Coast.
The dynamic nature of USQ allows us to remain relevant to global trends. From Arts, Business and Education to Sciences, Engineering and Surveying, we continue to develop
programs and courses that reflect the changing needs of society.
The University is also home to a number of leading Australian research centres including the Australian Centre for Sustainable Catchments (ACSC), the National Centre for Engineering in Agriculture (NCEA) and The Centre of Excellence in Engineered Fibre Composites (CEEFC).
USQ has a diverse student population, and we welcome international students from more than 100 countries each year.
To ensure our students reach their goals we have developed a variety of support avenues that provide them will the necessary tools to succeed. Our new students are allocated a Student Relationship Officer to support them to achieve their goals, help them through the challenging spots and celebrate their successes.
USQ is proud of our unique culture. We stand-out from the crowed because while we are committed to seeing our students achieve academically, we are also concerned with their personal journey toward their goals. While we are a regional university our perspective is global. Our degrees are relevant and our lecturers are leaders in their fields.
