The program is designed to enhance the skills of those who have, or wish to progress to, leadership and management responsibilities in the health industry. The content is directed to participants’ current roles, directions and career aspirations. 

Course overview

The Master of Health Industry is designed to develop an understanding of health industry management with a workplace focus. It enables students to improve their ability to manage change in the workplace and enhance their skills and knowledge in key areas of relevance to today's health industry, including the impact of new technologies.  It also facilitates progress to industry leadership.

Students can study towards a range of qualifications in this program. You can exit the program after four units and receive the Graduate Certificate, after eight units to receive the Graduate Diploma, and after twelve units for the Masters.

Majors

Critical areas of health industry management are covered including:
quality and performance management, health promotion planning, health communication, research methodologies, international health and primary health care.
