Course overview
The Master of Taxation is a specialised program primarily aimed at commerce graduates who are seeking further qualifications and/or continuing professional development. Graduates are generally practitioners in public or private practice, taxation officers, corporate accountants, financial planners, or members of the legal profession seeking specialist taxation qualifications.
The taxation program offers qualifications that are designed to be modular and flexible, allowing various exit points consistent with your study aspirations. You can exit the program after four units and receive the Graduate Certificate, after eight units and receive the Postgraduate Diploma or after twelve units and receive the Masters of Taxation.
The Master of Taxation degree program is recognised by CPA Australia as a specialist Masters course. As such, graduates of the Master of Taxation degree program are eligible for two elective segment exemptions in the CPA Program
