The Master of Arts in Writing focuses on a range of writing genres, in addition to multimedia writing, and is the ideal program is extend your creative and professional writing skills.

In exploring the ways of thinking about writing, the units do more than tell you ‘how to write’. You will explore creative writing, business writing and professional writing and may study towards a range of qualifications.

You can exit the program after four units and receive the Graduate Certificate, after eight units to receive the Graduate Diploma, or after twelve units to receive the Master of Arts in Writing.

Majors

The Master of Arts in Writing cover a diverse range of theoretical and creative subjects relating to the art and practice of writing.  Journalism, online writing, writing history, script writing and electronic writing are just some of the genres covered.  Students will be required to create a Publication Folio as they progress through the program.
