At David Jones we share our plans
This August our Christmas season recruitment begins. Each year we expand our sales and service teams to create the magic that is Christmas at David Jones. We have a range of positions with commencement dates from August through to early December 2008, continuing until January 2009.

In early September consider the Merchandise Trainee Program. For Finance or Business graduates interested in financial planning and analysis, you are eligible to apply for the Merchandise Planner stream of the exclusive David Jones Merchandise Trainee Program. The 12-month program provides a combination of on-the-job and off-the-job activities.

As we launch more world-famous cosmetics brands, embark on a career path as a beauty consultant or counter manager. Enjoy extensive training and great incentives while working on exclusive product introductions. Opportunities with new brands will arise from August through to October!

From November our Traineeship recruitment begins. A retail traineeship enables you to learn the business from the ground up and take your first step towards a successful management career with David Jones. This Retail Traineeship Program commences in January 2009 and provides nationally recognised qualifications. If you’re looking to continue your management career, opportunities exist as a sales supervisor or manager where you can take the lead, and receive ongoing coaching from a team of experts.
