Do I have to complete every element of my Professional Page?

What is the My Dream Job Delivers section and how do I customise it on my Professional Page?

You have the option of customising the My Dream Job Delivers section of your Professional Page to provide a visual indicator showing the elements of a job that are most important to you. You can click on any of the items in the box multiple times to increase the size of the font. For instance, if international travel is the most important thing to you, you can click it 4 or 5 times to make the font much bigger and make it stand out.You can also select up to 5 elements to enhance and/or add your own selections.

How do I turn on my Professional Page?

From the My Professional Page section of your Tracking Centre (the main screen you will see once you log in) click Turn On where it says Status. At this point, you will see a pop up window prompting you to customise your Professional Page URL. You have the ability to customise the URL by entering in the last part of the string. For example, you may choose to enter you first initial and last name. You only have to enter the last part of the URL. The first part is already entered for you. Once you complete this step, you are ready to edit your Professional Page. Click here to view a sample Professional Page.

What is the Experience Map on my Professional Page and how can I set it up?

The Experience Map displays your combined skills for all of the jobs you have entered into the Work History section of the My Jobs tab within a certain profession. This is a visual representation of your skills and experience. Edit your work history on the My Jobs section to add/change skills in your Experience Map.

The map is interactive and provides additional detail to the viewer when clicking on skills or nodes. The map size and orientation can be changed with the movement of your mouse. Click on a skill to link it to a work sample or add a note.

If you have two customer service jobs for example, the skills for both will be represented in your map. If you have skills across multiple professions (customer service, business analysis and logistics for example), the map will get too cluttered so when you are editing your page, you can click Change Emphasis Profession in the Experience Map Section to decide which profession you want your map to represent.

Why are employers I marked 'confidential' displaying on my Professional Page?

When you mark current or previous employers as 'confidential' during the online interview process, they're confidential to employers you're a jobs match for. But they're visible on your Professional Page.

Are current and previous employers confidential on my Professional Page?

The only way your page is seen is when you send it to people via email, or add a link to it on your cover letters or resumes. Your current and previous employers already know who you are so they don't need to be confidential.
